• ・ When I applied this program I had no idea about peace, how serious nuclear is, how much painful the victims would suffer from. However time goes by, I started to have point of view about peace and nuclear weapons.
• ・ I learned various aspects of nuclear weapons and different ways of building peace. And I should be the one who has to make effort to remember history and share what I learn.
• ・ Home stay was really interesting memory. I could experience ordinary Japanese family life. Also, I could have really strong solidarity with them.
• ・ It was of course historic to be here for the ceremony with UNSG in attendance for the first time as well as US ambassador and French and UK ministers. It was also great to meet the Mayor.
• ・ I am wholeheartedly grateful for the opportunity to undertake this course. I am thankful to my host family, fellow students and lecturers alike for offering their time and positivity and hope that I may emit such warmth and happiness to those around me. I would highly recommend this course, as well as visiting Japan in general, to anyone who is curious. A million thanks!
