  • ・I learned a great deal about the tragedy to Hiroshima of the A-bomb and of the ongoing suffering brought about by radiation. The international nature of this course broadened my understanding of world views.
  • ・ I was totally impressed that all classes connected various topics to Hiroshima's case. So I got surprised that there can be many/infinite connections to peace.
  • ・ I learned so much about many different aspects of peace: sustainable development, the environment, and history.
  • ・ I think that orientation, welcome party, and other planned events by the Japanese students were so beneficial. I learned so much about them, was able to explore Japan, and made new friends all at the same time.
  • ・ I believe my host parents deserve a "Nobel prize", satisfactory is an understatement.
  • ・ Homestay, it was more than satisfactory. The whole family are very warm and welcoming amongst my ignorance with regards to my skills in Japanese language.
  • ・Not only did I learn a lot of truths, but I also got the desire to find out more and get involved with active response.
  • ・ Thank you so much for the class, homestay, friends, experience...all of the things that I have 10 days.
