Japan Time I (for novice Japanese language learners or complete beginners):
An introduction to very basic Japanese conversation, including vocabulary,
polite expressions and kanji (Chinese characters).]
Japan Time II (for all non-Japanese participants): A basic introduction
to daily life and transportation in Hiroshima and some aspects of Japanese
culture (e.g., non-verbal communication) that non-Japanese participants
may not be familiar with, regardless of Japanese language proficiency.
[For this session, in addition to survival knowledge, another objective
could be to enhance participants’ understanding or appreciation of Japanese
culture].
