Access to the University
Hiroshima is a hub of the Chugoku Region and it is within easy reach of many parts of the country. Shinkansen trains (the bullet trains) travel from all major Japanese cities to JR Hiroshima Station. If you travel by air, you can avail of either a Limousine Bus (Airport shuttle bus) from Hiroshima Airport, or a local bus and the JR Sanyo Line (local train) from Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport. Once you get to Hiroshima City, local bus services are the most convenient way to visit our University: you can travel by bus from either JR Yokogawa Station (approx. 15 min.) or Hiroshima Bus Center (approx. 20 min.), and get off at Shiritsu Daigaku Mae (Hiroshima City University) or the next nearest bus stop, Numata Ryokinjo Mae (the Numata Highway Tollgate).

From Hiroshima Airport:
1) Take the Limousine Bus to Hiroshima Bus Center. (approx. 50 min. / 1,340 yen)
2) From Hiroshima Bus Center, take either of the following: i) take a local bus bound for “Kusunoki-dai” at Gate 2, and get off at “Shiritsu Daigaku-mae” (approx. 15 min. / 340 yen) which is right in front of HCU; or ii) take a local bus bound for “Hananoki-dai / Kokoro Nishi Koen / Kokoro Sangyo Danchi”, and get off at “Numata Ryokinjo-mae” (approx. 20 min. / 300 yen), from which HCU is an 8 min. walk.
From JR Hiroshima Station:
1) Take Sanyo Line (local train) bound for Iwakuni, and get off at Yokogawa. (3 min.)
2) From Yokogawa Station, take a local bus bound for “Hananoki-dai / Kokoro Nishi Koen / Kokoro Sangyo Danchi” to “Numata Ryokinjo-mae” (approx. 15 min. / 300 yen), from which HCU is an 8 min. walk.
